Thank you for your interest in St. Joseph School! You are to be commended for taking an active interest in your child’s future! We invite you to join into a partnership with the St. Joseph School Community, which we trust will be a long and fruitful one, directed to the best interests of your child. Our success and all that it encompasses depends mightily on the input we receive from our parents. General information is provided here on the web site and registration forms are available through the school office. For further formation, please call the office at (321) 723-8866.
We require that Pre-Kindergartners must be 4 years old on or before September 1st. Kindergartners MUST be 5 years old on or before September 1st - this is Florida law! When you come in to register, all forms must be submitted, along with a $300.00 New Student Fee, plus a $150.00 Registration Fee - these fees are non-refundable once your child is accepted. For more Tuition information, please click here . The registration process for students entering Grades 1 through 8 includes evaluation tests in math, english, and composition. All families will have an interview with the Principal, to which you must bring the child you are registering. We require a copy of the following documents:
Birth Certificate
Baptismal Certificate, if baptized
Florida HRS Immunization Form (blue card)
Florida HRS Physical Form (gold form)
Most recent Report Card/Progress Report (Grades 1 - 8)
The school day for children in Grades K - 4 begins promptly at 8:00am and ends at 2:45 pm. Pre-Kindergarten’s day is from 8:00am - 12:00 (optional 2:45pm or 6:00pm dismissal). Grades 5 - 8 dismiss at 3:00pm. There is no public transportation to or from school.
Category I or parishioner status tuition rates will apply to families who are: regular participants in weekend liturgies at their Catholic church, actively involved in at least one ministry in their parish church, contributing significantly to the support of their church in some traceable form. Category I families are also required to have a Parish Verification Form (in registration packet available through the office) signed by the pastor of their church. If you are registering more than one child, you will notice on the tuition page that your second through fourth child’s tuition is discounted. If, however, that second child is a Pre-Kindergartner, your tuition is not discounted because PreK is not a required grade. If you are not a registered, active parishioner at a Catholic church, you follow the Category II rates.
Each family has the choice of paying tuition via one of the following plans: Full Payment (due July 1st for the folowing school year), Half payments (due July1st and January 1st), or Automatic withdrawal from checking or savings (10, 11, or 12 months, or quarterly). Please note that the only option for automatic withdrawal for new families is 10 months.
Tuition Assistance is available. Financial aid forms are located in the school office each spring for the following school year.
Each family is required to perform 25 hours of service to the school or parish. The family will be charged $15.00 for each hour of service not performed.
For an additional fee, students may stay in the Extended Day Program after school until 6:00 p.m. More information about this service is available through the office.
