“Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, until the end of the age.” Mt. 28:19-20

Saint Joseph Catholic Community

As Christ sent his apostles out to evangelize all nations, we, in our parish community, are committed to carry out this mission by teaching, preaching and handing on the faith to all those entrusted to our care.

As stated in the National Directory for Catechesis,  “Quite early on, the name catechesis was given to the totality of the Church’s efforts to make disciples, to help [men & women] believe that Jesus is the Son of God so that believing they might have life in his name, and to educate and instruct them in this life, thus building up the body of Christ.”

We are dedicated to educate and form children, youth, and adults in the faith so that they may enjoy the fullness of Christian life. It is our intention to proclaim the Gospel and bring people into communion with God.

Parish Religious Education Program
Mission Statement

It is our purpose to assist families, adults, young adults, teens, and children to enter into a life-long relationship with God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit through the catechesis set forth by the Roman Catholic Church.  It is the responsibility of the catechetical ministries to help support families accept the challenge that the Gospel places before them in the modern world.

As a Catholic Community, we will always stress the importance of weekly participation in the Holy Eucharist.  We encourage you to make the faith journey with your child and make Mass a "Family Affair".
